Tiny in Number, Mighty in Witness

Small churches, we see you!

As we round the corner of another church year, we know you are out there preparing joyful Christmas worship, stretching small budgets into abundant hospitality, tending to pastoral needs, filing parochial reports, and rallying recruits for yet another faithful bishop’s committee.

You are tiny in number, but might in witness.

We know that small is beautiful—and also sometimes exhausting. That’s why, here at the Iona Collaborative, addressing congregational burnout is one of our top priorities. In partnership with congregations throughout our network, we are committed to building tools that work with the natural rhythms of small-church life to:

  • shift from scarcity mindsets toward sustainability thinking
  • transform decision-making into an opportunity for communal discernment
  • grow into more mutual models of ministry

This season, would you consider making a gift in honor of your small congregation—or of the congregation that formed you, loved you, or believed in you?

Your generosity helps us continue supporting small church ministries with the spiritual nourishment they need to keep on being salt and light in their communities.

Small churches are laboratories of grace.

You show the wider church how to love generously, welcome boldly, and trust that loaves and fishes really are enough.

We are honored to walk alongside you in this work.
