Forming the Next Generation of Leaders: Sustaining Locally Grown Education and Resources for Small Churches

Being a small-church priest has made me a big believer in miracles.

I used to think they were rare. But small church life is a lab for loaves-and-fishes faith. Now I know miracles are what happen when we stop imagining we can do anything on our own. Every week we show up, share what we have, and then trust God to transform the sum of all our gifts into enough. The math is simple, but powerful, and our mission at the Iona Collaborative is to celebrate and spread the good news it offers, both to the church and to the world.

Here at the Collaborative, we are forming a new generation of leaders who are leaning in to the power of small. From all over the country and all walks of life, they bring their experience, creativity, and grit to the congregations and communities they serve.

If the ministry of an Iona leader has blessed you, your congregation, or your diocese, please consider offering a gift of gratitude this year. Your support ensures that Locally Grown education continues to nourish the leaders who nourish all of us.

Small wonders multiplied can make a big difference.

Join us, and let’s watch the miracles unfold.
