In caring for others, when are you more an Ascetic Witness than a Midwife? What relationships are more like Gardening, and which encounters call for a Cultural Broker?
In this course, pastoral caregivers will examine and transform their current care work and relationships through the lenses of classic and postcolonial images of spiritual care. Participants will present and discuss case studies and summarize material from two texts: Images of Pastoral Care and Postcolonial Images of Spiritual Care.
