Facebook Group Instructions

MONDAY GROUP: YOU MUST ACCEPT MY FRIEND REQUEST BEFORE YOU CAN JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP

FRIDAY GROUP: YOU MUST ACCEPT RACHEL’S FRIEND REQUEST BEFORE YOU CAN JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP.

ON YOUR COMPUTER

  1. Go to your home page.
  2. Search for the name of your group (TBVM Fri. Cohort; TBVM Mon. Cohort)
  3. Click on the group to “go to the group”
  4. Under the cover picture click the “More” box.
  5. Click on “Pin to Shortcuts”
  6. Now you should be able to see this group under Shortcuts on the left-hand side of your sidebar.

ON YOUR PHONE

  1. Open Facebook
  2. On the bottom tool bar, click on the three lines all the way to the right.
  3. Click on Groups
  4. Search for your group (TBVM Fri. Cohort; TBVM Mon. Cohort)
  5. Open the group
  6. On the TOP, click on the three dots
  7. Click on “Pin Group”
  8. You should not be able to find your group by going to “Groups” (follow steps 1-5) and clicking on it.

    I have tried to get into the FB group both on my computer & my phone & the group does not come up for me to choose it. Perhaps someone will have to invite me to join the group? Perhaps my settings are locked down? I just don’t know. I have never had problems joining other groups so I don’t get it. Sorry

      We will help you at the beginning of the meeting. Get on 5 minutes early and we’ll get you set up!
